Maybrey Precision Castings Joins the Cast Metal Federation: A Step Towards Sustainable Casting

Jun 11, 2026 | News

Maybrey Precision Castings is pleased to announce that we have joined the Cast Metals Federation (CMF), the UK's trade body for the casting and foundry industry.

The CMF represents UK casting companies across all sectors, working to support industry standards, skills development, and sustainable manufacturing practices. As a specialist foundry committed to Carbon Net Zero and to the long-term health of the UK casting sector, joining the CMF is a natural step for Maybrey.

CMF membership connects us to a network of industry peers, technical resources, and a collective voice with government and other stakeholders. It also gives our customers the assurance that we operate within an independently monitored framework for quality and environmental responsibility.

It is worth noting that within two months of becoming a CMF member, Maybrey was awarded the CMF Component of the Year 2024 for the Black Renaissance silicon bronze sculpture project. That recognition confirmed both the strength of our relationship with the Federation and the quality of the work we produce.
