Mother Vérité: How Maybrey Precision Castings Realised a Seven Foot Silicon Bronze Postpartum Sculpture

Jun 11, 2026 | News

At Maybrey Precision Castings, we were honoured to assist on an extraordinary commission: the monumental sculpture Mother Vérité, created by artist Rayvenn Shaleigha D’Clark MA, FHEA, MRSS for the MTArt Agency.

This seven-foot bronze celebrates the postpartum body — every scar, every curve, every mark of transformation — and reframes motherhood not as a hidden chapter, but as a proud public form.
From our foundries point of view, the journey from vision to finished casting was as meaningful as the artwork itself.

Rayvenn scanned live subjects, created digital models, and eventually produced 3 D-printed moulds capturing the rich topography of the postpartum body.

Our team then translated those digital moulds into physical realisations in bronze. Using state-of-the-art 3D printed moulds combined with proven metal casting technique, we produced the silicon-bronze castings required for such intricate detail.

In general, 3D printed moulds allow foundries to reduce lead-time and increase precision/detail — eliminating much of the guesswork inherent in older hand-made tooling.

With moulds ready, we melted the silicon bronze, poured into the moulds, allowed the metal to solidify, and then removed sprues, vents and gates.

The result is a casting that meets the artist’s exacting standards: a sculpture that retains every intimate detail of the original model and pays tribute to postpartum strength and beauty.

To Rayvenn, and to all collaborators including the brand photographer, agency and Marine Tanguy, we extend our thanks.

We at Maybrey Precision Castings are proud to have helped bring this powerful piece into public space.
