Our accreditations are the formal evidence of the standards we hold ourselves to. They are not a marketing checklist: they are the framework within which every casting, every test, and every customer relationship is managed. All certificates are available on request, and any changes to our certification status are reflected on this page immediately.

ISO 9001:2015

Quality management system. Covers ferrous and non-ferrous castings, pattern manufacture, and machining. Demonstrates consistent process control and traceability across all production.

EN9100 / EN9001

European aerospace standards, applicable to EU-based aerospace and defence customers.

FNZ Platinum Carbon Net Zero Award

The highest level of the Future Net Zero programme, awarded to the Caro Group. Reflects net zero emissions achieved ahead of the 2050 goal and a 42% reduction in total carbon footprint over five years.

Member of the Cast Metals Federation, the UK trade body for the casting industry.

JOSCAR Registered

Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register. Relevant for UK defence sector procurement.

Cyber Essentials

UK Government-endorsed cybersecurity baseline certification.

AS9100 Rev D

Aerospace quality management system. Maybrey has held unbroken aerospace approval since 1936, the longest of any UK foundry. This is a significant and verifiable differentiator for aerospace and defence procurement. Covers aluminium sand and gravity die castings.

In line with AS9100 requirements, sub-contractors and supply shall be aware of the following when providing a service or goods to Maybrey Reliance. 

8.4.3 INFORMATION FOR EXTERNAL PROVIDERS 

A. Special requirements, critical items, or key characteristics;
B. Test, inspection, and verification (including production process verification);
C. The use of statistical techniques for product acceptance and related instructions for acceptance by the organization;
D. The need to:

-Implement a quality management system;

- Use customer-designated or approved external providers, including process sources (e.g., special processes);
- Notify the organization of nonconforming processes, [products, or services and obtain approval for their disposition;
- Prevent the use of counterfeit parts (see 8.1.4);
- Notify the organization of changes to processes, products, or services, including changes of their external providers or location of manufacture, and obtain the organization approval;
- Flow down to external providers applicable requirements including customer requirements;
- Provide test specimens for design approval, inspection/verification, investigation, or auditing;
- Retain documented information, including retention periods and disposition requirements;
E. The right of access by the organisation, their customer, and regulatory authorities to the applicable areas of facilities and to applicable documented information, at any level of the supply chain;
F. Ensuring that persons are aware of;
- Their contribution to product or service conformity;
- Their contribution to product safety
- The importance of ethical behaviour.
Where required by customer contractual requirements or where it is deemed necessary by Purchasing or Quality Management, sub-contract orders shall state the following:
Verification of purchased product may be required.
Maybrey Reliance or any of its customers having an interest reserves the right to risk assess, inspect, at source, product and/or documentation relating to this order.
Where identified we shall use NADCAP / customer approved source.
1. Right of access by Maybrey Reliance customer - regulatory authorities shall be applicable to all areas of all facilities at any level of the supply chain, involved in the order and to all applicable records.
2. Non sub-contract shall be permitted without authority.
3. Records are to be submitted / or retained for traceability as contractually stipulated.
3.11.2) Sub-contracted items requiring formal release shall be identified.
3.11.3) Formal release requirements shall be noted on the purchasing documentation.
3.11.4) Formal release may be required on the following. The customer order must be checked for confirmation of sub-contract requirements:
a) Casting Manufacture
b) Heat Treatment
c) Hot Isostatic Processing
d) Sodium Hydride Treatment
e) Electroplating
f) N.D.T
g) Mechanical Testing
h) Analysis
i) Machining
j) Any secondary process that could have an effect on
Product quality.
3.11.5) Maybrey Reliance accepts that verification of sub-contracted product is not a means of effective control of sub-contract quality.
3.11.6) MR accepts that supply of quality product is the responsibility of MR and that verification activities by MR or any of its customers shall not preclude subsequent rejection, due to quality problems, by its customer.
