Our metallurgical laboratory is central to our quality control and traceability, ensuring every alloy is accurately monitored and remains within the required specification throughout production.
Spectrographs
Our spectrometers are used to check chemical analysis before, during and after pouring. We also use our spectrometers to verify incoming materials, identify unknown alloys and reverse engineer samples to determine their chemical composition.
brinell hardness tester
Our Brinell hardness tester measures resistance to indentation, allowing us to check material hardness and confirm that castings and samples meet the required specifications.


tensiometer
Our tensile testing machine measures mechanical properties including Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) and elongation. UTS shows the maximum stress a material can withstand, while elongation indicates how much it can stretch before breaking.
Chemical and mechanical certifications
Our laboratory allows us to provide chemical and mechanical certification in line with our ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems, giving customers confidence that materials have been tested and meet the required specification.
NADCAP APPROVED non-destructive testing
NADCAP-approved Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is available as part of our quality assurance offering, including dye penetrant and radiographic inspection. These methods allow castings to be checked for surface and internal defects, providing additional assurance that components meet the required quality and acceptance standards.
